Wind can be the most unpredictable and dangerous weather variable for beach tent rentals. In many cases, high winds will occur before, during, and after summer thunderstorms. For the safety of you, the crew, and everyone else at the beach we must take the tents down when there is an event of high wind on the horizon. We do our best to keep the tent up at the times you would enjoy using it, but on rare occasions it will be bright and sunny with high winds.
Summer at the beach can be unpredictable when it comes to thunderstorms. We keep a close eye on the weather and sometimes must take the canopy down in preparation for an intense storm for the safety of you, the crew, and the equipment. Under no circumstances should tent be used as a shelter during a storm. if you see bad weather on the horizon, we ask that you proceed to a permanent shelter.
On some unfortunate occasions, the storms may come too fast for our crews to be able to get all of the equipment off of the beach before the storm gets intense. In these cases we ask that you please DO NOT attempt to take the canopy down. We will be out to clean up the wreckage once the storm has passed. Remember, this is why the canopies are never to be used as a storm shelter.
